...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM MDT THIS EVENING...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central New Mexico, including the
  following county, Dona Ana and western Texas, including the
  following county, El Paso.

* WHEN...Until 715 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 608 PM MDT, Traffic cameras and broadcast media reported
    heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. This is
    causing urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1
    inch of rain has fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    West El Paso, Santa Teresa and Sunland Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
