The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  West Central Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico...

* Until 415 AM MDT.

* At 112 AM MDT, Nearly stationary thunderstorms roughly between
  Hatch and Rincon have produced 1 to 1.5 inches of rain just north
  of State Highway 154, but below nearby retention dams. Low water
  crossings along Highway 154 will likely become inundated. Heavy
  rainfall may also cause poor drainage flooding in Hatch and Rincon.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Hatch, Rincon and Angostura.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
