For the eastern and central North Pacific east of 180 longitude:

Active Systems:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Lala, located just west-southwest of Laysan Island, and on Tropical
Depression Two-C, located about 850 miles east-southeast of Hilo,
Hawaii.

South-Southwest of Mexico:
A broad area of low pressure located a few hundred miles south of
the coast of southern Mexico is producing disorganized showers and
thunderstorms. Environmental conditions appear favorable for gradual
development, and a tropical depression is likely to form this
weekend or early next week while the system moves west-northwestward
or northwestward, remaining well offshore of Mexico.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...high...70 percent.

Central East Pacific:
An area of low pressure located several hundred miles south of the
southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula is producing a large
area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental
conditions appear favorable for gradual development, and a tropical
depression could form this weekend or early next week while the
system moves west-northwestward or northwestward at 5 to 10 mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...medium...60 percent.
