For the eastern and central North Pacific east of 180 longitude:

Active Systems:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Lowell, located about 600 miles south-southwest of the Hawaiian
Islands, on Tropical Storm Karina, located about 750 miles
east-northeast of the Hawaiian Islands, and on Hurricane Marie,
located several hundred miles west of the southern tip of the
Baja California Peninsula.

Offshore of Southwestern Mexico:
A trough of low pressure located several hundred miles south of the
coast of southwestern Mexico is producing disorganized showers and
thunderstorms. Gradual development of this system is possible, and a
tropical depression could form during the middle or latter portions
of next week while the system moves generally west-northwestward at
10 to 15 mph.
