Winds increase this afternoon from the west-southwest as an
upper-level system moves through the region. Sustained winds of
20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knots are expected in the late
afternoon and early evening. Winds will begin from the west-
southwest this afternoon, shifting to west-northwest by the early
evening behind a cold front. Blowing dust may reduce visibility to
below 5 miles during the afternoon. Winds fall to below criteria
by 10 pm tonight, but remaining breezy through the overnight hours.
