Pt St George to Cape Mendocino out 10 nm... * Until 600 PM PDT. * At 516 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 12 NM west of Eureka, moving east-northeast at 15 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas.
