The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Cape Mendocino to Pt Arena out 10 nm...
  Cape Mendocino to Pt Arena 10 to 60 nm...

* Until 615 AM PDT.

* At 535 AM PDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located 20 NM southwest of Cape Mendocino, moving
  northeast at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create
           locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged
           in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mainly open waters of Cape Mendocino to Pt Arena out 10 nm and
  Cape Mendocino to Pt Arena 10 to 60 nm.
