.DISCUSSION...Above normal temperatures with low daytime humidity
is forecast to continue through mid week. Overnight thermal belts
are expected to continue, resulting in poor humidity recoveries
below 50% where northeast and east winds persist through the
night. Winds are generally expected to shift to westerly and
southwesterly during the afternoon hours. A storm system will
approach toward the end of the week, bringing a potential for
moderate to heavy rainfall. Chance for over 0.25 inches in 6
hours is about 5% on Thursday, 40% on Friday and then 20% on
Saturday. The chance for multi-day totals for over an inch
Thursday through Saturday is about 60%. There is still
uncertainty with the timing, but right now the day with
greatest potential for heavy rain is on Friday.
