.DISCUSSION...High pressure rebuilds this week bringing much
warmer and drier conditions. Valleys could see highs in the high
90s with higher elevations in the 70s and 80s. Winds will be
breeziest in the higher terrain with breezy northwest winds in
the afternoon at around 5 to 10 mph, with higher gusts up to 15 on
the ridges. Winds turn easterly overnight and are expected to be
especially breezy Tuesday night into Wednesday with gusts of 20
mph or higher possible. Winds start to ease Wednesday into
Thursday, and the warm pattern continues through Thursday. A
trough will arrive this weekend with a weak cold front. This is
very low confidence at this point with only around a 5% chance of
wetting rain (over 0.1") and a 20% chance for anything measurable
(over 0.01"). This will deepen the marine layer and likely bring
marine stratus, regardless.
