.DISCUSSION...After another cold night, temperatures will increase
into the 40`s as moist southeast flow develops ahead of an
approaching low pressure system. Southeast winds will increase in
the afternoon and evening. Gusts 10 to 15 mph are possible
overnight as a frontal boundary crosses the area, bringing
moderate to locally heavy rainfall through Thursday. Snow showers
are possible before sunrise Thursday before snow levels rise above
3000 feet. Heaviest precip will be focused south of Humboldt,
becoming heavier across northern counties late Thursday and
Friday. Total accumulations will be 1 to 3 inches through Friday.
