.DISCUSSION...A strong frontal system continues to translate
east-southeast across the area throughout the day, while a surface
low offshore NW California drive southward. Strong south winds up
to around 50 mph will continue over the exposed ridges through
this afternoon, before gradually diminish late this afternoon and
evening. Stratiform rain transitioning to rain showers this
morning. Brief heavy downpours is possible with this showers
by mid to late afternoon. Lingering showers are expected into
Friday. A drier and cooler air mass will quickly build behind the front
with partly to clear skies by Friday afternoon.
