.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry conditions continue today before a
troughing pattern returns Friday into the weekend. A deeper marine
layer may support low cloud cover in the river valleys early
Saturday and Sunday, with higher confidence on Sunday. A weak
front may bring light rain showers on Saturday. Confidence is low
on how far south the rain will reach and how far south get and
high-resolution models within range are not currently adding much
confidence. Currently, chances for wetting rain is 7% and the
chance for any measurable rain is 25%. Wetting rain would likely
be the high end potential amount. Thunderstorms may be possible
should an especially strong shower develop, but this is even lower
confidence and would likely be associated with wetting rain.
Chances for rain remain below 10% for the next week.
