NIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING...
.DISCUSSION...Elevated to critical fire weather conditions are
forecast this afternoon and evening due low afternoon RH and
gusty, westerly winds. Winds will be strongest in eastern Trinity
County, eastern Mendocino, and Lake County. Winds in channeled
terrain will be especially strong with gusts of 25 to 35 mph.
Afternoon RH will rise into the 20s and 30s with these increasing
winds. Wetting rain is likely this evening and overnight for Del
Norte County and is possible in far northern Humboldt County.
Winds ease Sunday, but north winds may be breezy in eastern Lake
County early Monday morning. A warming trend back to near-normal
arrives early next week.
