MOUNTAINS...
.DISCUSSION...Conditions will remain hot and dry with highs in
the mid 90s and minimum RH around 20-25 percent. Enhanced instability
will again bring potential for scattered thunderstorms this afternoon.
Storms will most likely be mostly stationary and are most likely to
form over southern Trinity and northern Mendocino Counties. While
storms are likely to produce rain, fire starts remain likely due
to lightning around the edges of storms.
