...SLIGHT CHANCE FOR DRY THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...
.DISCUSSION...There is a slight chance (10%) of dry thunderstorms
for the interior areas this afternoon and evening. The best
chances for thunderstorms are in Trinity County, Siskiyou County,
and the Yolla Bollys. Storm chances may linger into the evening
for southern Siskiyou County and far northeast Del Norte county. A
troughing pattern has brought a deep marine layer with marine
stratus reaching farther inland. Afternoon humidities are forecast
to be in the 30s and 40s for most interior areas with good
overnight recoveries. Below normal interior temperatures of 80s to
low 90s are forecast for the next week as the troughing pattern
continues.
