...A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS IN TRINITY COUNTY AND
NORTHEAST MENDOCINO COUNTY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...
.DISCUSSION...High pressure building off the coast will bring a
warming and drying trend across Northwest California through
Tuesday. Breezy north to northwest winds will develop across the
ridges and exposed interior valleys this afternoon with local
gusts between 15 and 25 miles per hour. Lighter winds are expected
tuesday afternoon. Wednesday afternoon or overnight an upper low
has the potential to bring a few thunderstorms to Trinity county
and northeastern Mendocino county. This will also bring slightly
cooler temperatures and higher RH. A few thunderstorms are
possible in northern Trinity on Thursday as well. Warm and dry
weather is expected to return Friday and Saturday.
