...SLIGHT CHANCE FOR DRY THUNDERSTORMS FOR THE AFTERNOON AND
OVERNIGHT HOURS OF TUESDAY IN TRINITY COUNTY...
.DISCUSSION...Slightly cooler temperatures and higher RH are
expected Monday with continued cooling through the week. Breezy
southerly winds in the afternoon will create locally elevated fire
weather conditions in eastern Trinity County, mainly for the
higher terrain. A trough will bring a 5-10% chance for isolated
dry thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening in Trinity and
Siskiyou Counties. Areas of Del Norte and northern Humboldt
counties have a 50 to 80 percent chance of more than an inch of
rain Wednesday and Thursday. The rainfall diminishes quickly for
areas farther south and east.
