.DISCUSSION...An upper trough has arrived to the west coast,
continuing through Friday. Expect cooler temperatures, higher
afternoon RH lows, and better overnight RH recoveries. Winds will
continue to be elevated due to increased atmospheric mixing. The
marine layer continues to deepen overnight extending farther
inland as well. THis trough increases the thunderstorm risk to a
very low 5-10% for the Klamath mountains and Yolla Bollas today.
Friday shows higher chances up to 10-15 percent mainly for western
Siskiyou County or areas near the county line. The storm chance
is likely to linger into Friday night for Siskiyou County and
perhaps far northeast Del Norte county.
