.DISCUSSION...Tropical moisture will continue to push across the
area this evening, bringing chances for scattered thunderstorms.
Thunderstorm chances are greatest (20%) this evening in Trinity
County. Otherwise, partly cloudy skies will continue to promote
generally subdued conditions through Sunday with highs in the low
80s and RH not much below 40 percent. Warmer and drier conditions
will quickly return early this week. By Monday, hot interior
valleys will return to the upper 90s with minimum RH in the
teens. Winds will be mostly moderate and terrain driven with
areas of enhanced northerly winds along the rim of the Sacramento
Valley gusting over 25 mph Monday and Tuesday afternoons.
