DANGER FOR EASTERN MENDOCINO, TRINITY, AND LAKE COUNTIES TODAY
AND EARLY MONDAY...
.DISCUSSION...Strong north winds, gusting near 40 mph, will
continue this afternoon, but conditions will also rapidly warm and
dry with RH dropping closer to 15 percent for the eastern
interior. Fire weather conditions will be hottest, driest, and
most windy Today and early Monday around the rim of the
Sacramento Valley, particularly in Lake County. Fine fuels may
broadly remain too green to support large fires, but weather
conditions will be conducive to extreme fire behavior should fuels
be available.
