ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER THREAT IN ZONES 419 AND 421 WEDNESDAY...
.DISCUSSION...Temperatures will trend lower through the end of
the week. West- northwest winds will strengthen behind a front on
Wednesday. The interior ridges and channeled terrain will see
stronger gusts of 20 to 35 mph. Locally higher gusts are likely
south in Lake County. Good to moderate RH recoveries are expected
to prevail for most of the area. Locally elevated fire weather
conditions are expected on zones 419 and 421 on Wednesday due to
low daytime RH combine with locally gusty winds over the ridges. A
deeper trough will likely bring stronger winds Friday and into
the weekend. No precipitation is expected through the weekend,
followed by 15-25% chance of precipitation early next week across
the northern portion of the area.
