INTERIOR ZONES THIS THE WEEKEND AND MONDAY...
.DISCUSSION...Dry northeast flow and poor overnight RH recoveries
on the ridges are promoting elevated fire weather conditions today
and will persist through Sunday. Otherwise, hot and drier weather
conditions are expected through Tuesday with generally weak,
terrain-driven wind with low mixing heights though Tuesday.
Interior highs peaking in excess of 100 this weekend and Monday
and RH dropping to the teens percent and perhaps even the single
digits in Trinity County. Marine influence will be restricted to
only the immediate coast. Dry weather will continue next week,
but with a gradual cooling trend and improved RH recoveries by mid
to late next week.
