...BUILDING HOT AND VERY DRY CONDITIONS WILL INCREASE FIRE DANGER
ACROSS THE INTERIOR THROUGH THE WEEKEND...
.DISCUSSION...Hot and very dry weather will continue to rapidly
build today. Highs will peak around Friday with the hottest
valleys reaching over 110 with exceptionally dry RH in the single
digits. Overnight recoveries will also become increasingly poor
at mid and upper elevations. Marine influence will shallow and
become restricted to the coast. Similar hot and dry conditions
will continue through the weekend. There is a very slight chance
of dry thunderstorms over high interior terrain by Sunday, but
chances for thunderstorms increase early next week.
