.SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS...Expect southerly winds
building today as a low pressure system arrives off the Washington
coast. Winds will continue to rise sharply through the night with
strong gale force gusts forecasted for the northern waters and near-
gale and gale force gusts in the southern waters tonight through
Wednesday morning. Wind waves will rise sharply and in addition to
a steep westerly swell, will create steep waves from Wednesday
and Thursday. More storms with strong winds and steep waves are
expected Friday and this weekend.
