Moderate to strong breezes are forecast through Friday evening across the outer waters and in the lee of Cape Mendocino, with light to gentle winds for the inner waters. Steep short- period seas are forecast to gradually subside through the weekend. A small and longer period SW swell is forecast to persist through the weekend.
