FRIDAY...

* WHAT...The perigee moon cycle is generating above normal high
  tides, reaching 8.03 ft MLLW Thursday and 7.94 ft MLLW Friday.
  Southerly winds ahead of a weather system may increase the tidal
  anomaly, with 0.85 to 1.0 positive tidal anomaly possible,
  creating a high tide of 9.0 ft at the North Spit.

* WHERE...Minor coastal flooding occurs around Humboldt Bay at
  tides of 8.8 ft at locations such as King Salmon, Jackson Ranch
  Road, and Arcata Bottoms.

* WHEN...Thursday and Friday afternoons.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of low lying areas around Humboldt Bay
  including parks and roads with only isolated closures
  expected. Flooding will likely impact Jackson Ranch Road in
  the Arcata Bottoms and several roads in King Salmon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
