west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.KEY MESSAGES...

- Showers and thunderstorms are likely this morning across
  northwestern Missouri.

- Hot and humid conditions continue through at least early to
  mid afternoon for areas along and south of Interstate 70.

- Showers and thunderstorms are likely this afternoon and
  evening along and ahead of cold front and/or convectively
  induced outflow boundary.
     - Locally moderate to heavy rainfall possible.
     - A few wind gusts up to 50 to 55 mph possible.

- Isolated to scattered showers/storms will likely linger into
  Thursday morning.

- Much, much cooler temperatures and lower humidity is expected
  for Thursday through Saturday.
