...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Missouri, including the
  following counties, Chariton, Linn, Livingston and Macon.

* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 746 AM CDT, Local law enforcement reported flooding in
    Brookfield.  Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Brookfield, Marceline, Bucklin, Meadville, Laclede, Linneus
    and Saint Catherine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
