The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Henry County in northwestern Illinois...

* Until 930 PM CDT.

* At 831 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Sherrard to near Knoxville, moving northeast at 35
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Henry County Fairgrounds, Annawan, Ophiem, Atkinson, German Corner,
  Galva, Cambridge, Kewanee, Cleveland, Sunny Hill, Dayton, Warner,
  Nekoma, Andover, Kewanee Municipal Airport, Osco, Green River,
  Shady Beach, Osborn, and Colona.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 6 and 35.
 Interstate 74 in Illinois between mile markers 8 and 33.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northwestern
Illinois.
