The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Putnam County in north central Illinois...
  Southeastern Bureau County in north central Illinois...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 907 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lake
  Thunderbird, or near Hennepin, moving east at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hennepin, Spring Valley, DePue, Granville, Ladd, Tiskilwa, Dalzell,
  Bureau Junction, Mark, Seatonville, Standard, Hollowayville,
  Ottville, Lake Thunderbird, and Florid.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 68 and 72.
 Interstate 180 between mile markers 1 and 10.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
