...Patchy Dense Fog This Morning...

Patchy shallow fog is developing across portions of southeastern Iowa
into west central Illinois early this morning. The fog could
become locally dense with visibilities briefly down to a quarter
mile, especially in river valleys and other low lying locations.
Visibilities will improve by the mid morning as the sun rises and
the fog quickly dissipates.

If traveling early this morning, be prepared for rapid changes in
visibilities over very short distances, make sure to slow down,
and keep plenty of stopping distance between yourself and other
vehicles.
