...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Whiteside,
Carroll, eastern Jo Daviess and Stephenson Counties through 630 PM
CDT...

At 534 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Apple River to near Fulton. Movement was
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Freeport, Mount Carroll, Fulton, Savanna, Lena, Stockton, Lanark,
Warren, Milledgeville, Fairhaven, Pearl City, Shannon, Cedarville,
Davis, Chadwick, Dakota, German Valley, Apple River, Winslow, and
Rock City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for
northwestern Illinois.
