...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Warren, southeastern
Mercer, Henderson, McDonough, Hancock, southeastern Des Moines,
central Lee and southeastern Clark Counties through 515 AM CDT...

At 422 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an outflow boundary with
winds gusts over 40 mph along a line extending from near Abingdon to
Burnside to near Hamilton. Behind this outflow boundary, a line of
storms will move back into the area and bring another round
of gusts over 40 mph. Movement was south at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
         around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Burlington, Macomb, Fort Madison, Keokuk, Monmouth, Carthage,
Oquawka, Nauvoo, Bushnell, West Burlington, Hamilton, Warsaw,
Colchester, La Harpe, Roseville, Dallas City, Montrose, Stronghurst,
Kirkwood, and Blandinsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
