...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southwestern Henry,
Van Buren, northwestern Lee, southern Jefferson, northwestern Clark
and Scotland Counties through 230 AM CDT...

At 137 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles northeast of Bloomfield to Queen City.
Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
         around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Memphis, Keosauqua, Birmingham, Milton, Bonaparte, Stockport,
Wyaconda, Cantril, Hillsboro, Rutledge, South Gorin, Granger, Douds,
Bentonsport/Vernon, Leando, Crawford, Arbela, Mount Sterling, Hitt,
and Glasgow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
