...A line of thunderstorms with heavy rain will impact portions of
Jo Daviess, northern Stephenson, north central Jackson and east
central Dubuque Counties through 1030 PM CDT...

At 934 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking line of heavy rain along a
line extending from near Apple River to near Springbrook. Movement
was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and minor flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
         around unsecured objects. Slowing or redirecting of traffic
         due to ponding or flowing water. Closure of waterfront
         access due to flooding.

Locations impacted include...
Galena, Lena, Bellevue, Stockton, East Dubuque, Warren, Hanover,
Elizabeth, Cedarville, Davis, Woodbine, Dakota, Andrew, Scales Mound,
Apple River, Winslow, Rock City, La Motte, Menominee, and
Springbrook.

Peak hourly rainfall rates between 1 to 1.5 inches are possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern and east central Iowa.
