...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northwestern Henry,
Keokuk, Washington and northern Jefferson Counties through 530 AM
CDT...

At 448 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Keswick to Delta to near Ottumwa
Industrial Airport. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Washington, Sigourney, Kalona, Wellman, Riverside, Wayland, Hedrick,
Brighton, What Cheer, Richland, Ainsworth, Delta, Keswick, South
English, Packwood, Harper, Martinsburg, Pleasant Plain, Kinross, and
Hayesville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
