This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Heat and humidity will once again bring heat index readings of 95
to 100 degrees to the area this afternoon and early evening.

There is a low chance for thunderstorms this morning northwest of
a line from Vinton to Dubuque Iowa. Severe weather is not
expected, but gusty winds are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY


Hot and humid conditions are expected during the afternoon and
evening hours on Saturday and Sunday, with heat index readings
between 95 to 100 degrees.

The Storm Prediction Center has a Slight Risk, level 2 of 5, in
northeast Iowa Sunday, and a Marginal Risk, level 1 of 5, for
the rest of the area. At this time, damaging winds and isolated heavy
rainfall amounts appear to be the main threats.

River Flood Watches continue for portions of the Cedar river and
a river flood warning is in effect for Marengo on the Iowa river.
