This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Another hot and humid day is forecast today, with afternoon and
early evening heat index values of 95 to 100 degrees.

The Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a slight risk, level 2
of 5 for much of eastern Iowa and northeast Missouri. The
remainder of the area, generally along and east of the Mississippi
River is in a marginal, level 1 risk. The primary severe risk in
all areas today is damaging winds.

The forecast for storms today and tonight remains low confidence,
as a warm layer of air aloft and a front not arriving until early
Monday, result in a the potential for storms to be delayed until
late evening and overnight. Should storms not form until
overnight, the risk for severe storms, would be lower.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

Scattered thunderstorms are possible Monday. An isolated severe
storm is possible Monday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Storm spotter activation is possible this afternoon through
tonight, especially in eastern Iowa.
