Widespread snowfall totals of 4 to 6 inches are expected with amounts over 6 inches possible northwest of a Cedar Rapids to Dubuque line. Lower totals are expected in west central Illinois. Dry snow will easily drift in gusty winds especially in open areas. Travel impacts are expected through Wednesday night with the greatest impacts during the evening commute. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY Low temperatures on Thursday morning will be in the single digits above and below zero. Temperatures combined with winds of 10 to 15 MPH and gusts up to 20 MPH will produce wind chills of zero to 20 below zero during the morning hours. The coldest wind chills are expected west of the Mississippi River. Another storm system is forecast to move across the area Friday night through Saturday. A wintry mix of precipitation is possible south of a Fairfield to Galesburg line with snow to the north. Minimum wind chill values Saturday night and Sunday night are forecast to drop to 10 below to 20 below. The coldest wind chill values are expected north of Interstate 80. Yet another storm system is expected to impact the area Monday into Tuesday with accumulating snow possible. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
