This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Rain falling on frozen ground could lead to flooding of low lying
and flood prone areas, and urban areas. A Flood Watch has been
issued for today for portions of southeast Iowa and northern
Illinois, where the heaviest rainfall amounts over 1 inch and
localized flooding threat is greatest. The ongoing rain and runoff
may also interact with ice action to produce rises on area
rivers, creeks and streams. The Rock River in Illinois and the
Skunk River in southeast Iowa may be the most prone to eventually
see some ice action or jamming.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter reports of rainfall amounts over 1 inch, or reports of
any flooding or water impacts would be greatly appreciated.
