.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures will be warmer today with widespread highs in
the mid to upper 80s Southeast winds will increase to around 10 knots
this morning and continue through the day. Minimum relative humidities
are forecast to range from 35 to 45 percent. Isolated showers and storms
are possible late this afternoon into this evening in far northwest
Illinois. Near record high temperatures are possible on Thursday with
widespread temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Minimum relative
humidity values are forecast to range from 30 to 40 percent. Afternoon showers
and storms are possible north of Interstate 80.
The Grassland Fire Danger Index -GFDI- does not account for
precipitation that occurs or any snow on the ground. Please
