.DISCUSSION...

West southwest to west winds will again gust up to 45 mph this
afternoon. The strong winds in combination with low humidity and mild
temperatures will result in a very high fire danger. Any
fires that develop will spread quickly.

The strongest wind gusts currently look to occur between 1 and
4:30 PM this afternoon.

The Grassland Fire Danger Index -GFDI- does not account for
precipitation that occurs or any snow on the ground. Please
make appropriate adjustments.
