.DISCUSSION...
Warm and breezy conditions will be seen today, with afternoon
temperatures rising into the upper 70s/low 80s. Strong southerly
winds gusting between 35-40 mph will be possible this afternoon.
In addition, showers and thunderstorms ahead of a cold front are
expected late afternoon through early Friday morning. A few of
these storms could become severe, with damaging west wind the
primary threat.
The Grassland Fire Danger Index -GFDI- does not account for
precipitation that occurs or any snow on the ground. Please
make appropriate adjustments.
