.DISCUSSION...
More scattered showers expected this morning before clearing out
this afternoon. Additional rainfall of a trace up to a quarter of
an inch is likely. Remaining low-level clouds will keep highs in
the 70s and low 80s this afternoon with minimum RH values between
70-90%. Winds are forecasted to be easterly around 5-10 knots with
a few gusts up to 15 knots. Thunderstorms could form tonight near
the I-80 corridor, but there is still uncertainty on coverage and
rainfall totals.
The Grassland Fire Danger Index -GFDI- does not account for
precipitation that occurs or any snow on the ground. Please
make appropriate adjustments.
