...The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri...

  Fox River at Wayland affecting Clark County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued by late Thursday night at midnight
CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING TO EARLY FRIDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Fox River at Wayland.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning to early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Water affects agricultural land on the
  south bank.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 6.1 feet and rising
    rapidly.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late
    tomorrow morning to 16.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It
    will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon to 10.2
    feet early Friday afternoon. It will rise to 11.7 feet
    Saturday morning. It will then fall again and remain below
    flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
