...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Iowa River at Marengo affecting Iowa and Benton Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement will be issued by Sunday evening at 830 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Marengo.

* WHEN...From late tonight until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. Extensive inundation
  of agricultural land.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.5 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tonight and continue rising to a crest of 16.8 feet
    Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
