The Flood Watch is cancelled for portions of east central and
southeast Iowa, including the following areas, in east central Iowa,
Benton and Iowa counties. In southeast Iowa, Keokuk County.

The flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flood Watch is being
cancelled.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall remains possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following counties,
  Carroll, Hancock, Henderson, Henry IL, Jo Daviess, Mercer, Rock
  Island, Stephenson, Warren and Whiteside, Iowa, including the
  following counties, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Des
  Moines, Dubuque, Henry IA, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Jones,
  Lee, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren and Washington, and
  northeast Missouri, including the following counties, Clark and
  Scotland.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
  in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Repeated rounds of thunderstorms are expected through the
    period.  Rainfall rates between 1 to 3 inches per hour are
    possible with the strongest storms and may lead to flash
    flooding.  Area rivers may also start to flood due to runoff
    from heavy rain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
