The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Oakland County in southeastern Michigan...

* Until 115 AM EDT.

* At 1250 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located near West Bloomfield, or near Pontiac, moving
  east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Troy, Pontiac, and Birmingham around 1255 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Bloomfield Hills, Keego Harbor, Bloomfield Township, Sylvan Lake,
Rochester Hills, Clawson, and Auburn Hills.

This includes the following highways...
 I-75 between mile markers 67 and 77.
 M-59 between mile markers 42 and 48.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
