.DISCUSSION...There is a chance for thunderstorms during peak heating
today and again Thursday/Friday (Independence Day). A few of these
storms will be capable of damaging winds to 60 mph on an isolated
basis. Outside of thunderstorm chances, conditions will be mostly
sunny with seasonable temperatures in the mid 80s. A cold front
drops through the region tonight with little fanfare aside from a
shift in wind direction to northerly. Hot and humid conditions
return for the weekend.
