There are currently 9 numbered sunspot regions on the disk. # :Solar_Forecast: Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be low with a slight chance for an M-class flare on days one, two, and three (17 Aug, 18 Aug, 19 Aug). # :Geophysical_Activity: Geophysical Activity Summary 15/2100Z to 16/2100Z: The geomagnetic field has been at quiet levels for the past 24 hours. Solar wind speed reached a peak of 481 km/s at 16/0544Z. Total IMF reached 5 nT at 15/2313Z. The maximum southward component of Bz reached -4 nT at 16/1446Z. Electrons greater than 2 MeV at geosynchronous orbit reached a peak level of 9365 pfu. # :Geophysical_Forecast: Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet levels on day one (17 Aug), quiet to active levels on day two (18 Aug) and unsettled to minor storm levels on day three (19 Aug).
