Snow showers continue to rotate southeast into northern and northeast Iowa this evening. Road temperatures have dropped below freezing and snow is beginning to accumulate on road surfaces. Along with the falling snow, visibility may be briefly lower at times. If traveling through the region this evening, remain alert to changing road conditions and possible slick spots and stretches. If you are traveling through urban areas and encounter patchy snow accumulations, be prepared for icy spots at intersections. Bridges and overpasses also tend to accumulate snow more quickly and pose additional challenges to safe travel. Drive carefully and arrive at your destination safely. $$ REV
